The RPG comes first

You are playing inside a persistent world.

CYBERTECH is not a narrator improvising rules around the next scene. Resources, people, technology and outcomes are governed by the game. AI turns those recorded results into natural narration and dialogue.

The rules do not bend to the story

The narrator cannot award a qualification you failed, refill spent materials or turn an unsuccessful mission into success. Your next choice begins from the outcome the game recorded.

Your decisions have a place to persist

Items, settlements, contacts, discoveries, finances and relationships are part of your continuing world. What you do now can change your options many missions later.

Constraint creates meaningful choices

A needed component can become a journey, a salvage project or a fabrication job. The world determines what exists. You choose a legitimate way to work with it.

Depth you can experience naturally

Read the situation, use a suggested action or describe your approach in plain language. The structured game sits underneath narration, dialogue and guidance that help you understand what is happening.

What playing actually feels like

Read. Choose. See the result. Decide again.

You do not need to invent the rules yourself. Each decision connects your character, available equipment and real world state.

01 · Read the situation

Understand where you are, what is happening and what your character can legitimately know. Unverified information stays distinct from established evidence.

02 · Choose your approach

Use a relevant suggested action or describe what you want to try in plain language. Prepare, investigate, negotiate, engineer, travel or fight as the situation requires.

03 · Let the game resolve it

Skills, equipment, injuries, position, risk and world state determine the outcome. When dice matter, the interface presents the committed roll, not a new roll invented by the narrator.

04 · Continue from what changed

AI presents the recorded result. Resources, relationships, evidence, wounds and opportunities carry forward into your next decision. Your history stays part of the game.

One need. Several connected systems.

A missing component can become a whole piece of gameplay.

This example shows why CYBERTECH's depth is in systems affecting systems, not simply longer narration.

Connected decisions

Find a legitimate source

The local supply has been consumed. You investigate salvage, a regional supplier or a different manufacturing route. None of those options quietly restores the missing stock.

Connected decisions

Plan the operation

The chosen source requires suitable craft, fuel, cargo capacity and access. You budget for the item, the journey and any specialist work it requires.

Connected decisions

Account for the delay

Work, imports and travel take time. A deadline may pass or equipment become due for maintenance while you pursue the solution.

Connected decisions

Carry the result forward

Your approach changes funds, materials, time and readiness. Later missions work with that state, including the consequences of the original shortage.

Designed for long-form progression

Remember how restricted you once were.

Across a campaign designed for roughly two years of sustained play, progression expands what you can legitimately do. It never exempts you from the world.

More ways to solve the same problem

Early on, you may lack the money, qualification, vehicle or facility. Later, your own capability and infrastructure can open several genuine approaches.

Freedom around the campaign spine

100 major missions across 10 arcs provide structure. Resource sourcing, projects, training, relationships, Carrier development and self-directed decisions create play around those missions.

Failure without a rewritten past

A failed operation can cost resources, standing, time or rewards. Legitimate outside help and recovery routes can move the campaign forward while keeping that failure on record.

Different players, different histories

One character may carry debt, another may preserve a grant. One may qualify, another may rely on a specialist. Both timelines remain legitimate parts of their continuing worlds.

Clear answers

Before you begin.

The essentials of one character, a persistent world and a narrator that respects the game.

Is CYBERTECH an AI chatbot adventure?

No. CYBERTECH is a persistent system-driven science-fiction RPG. The game determines and records outcomes, resources and world state. AI then presents that truth through narration, dialogue and guidance.

Do I control a party?

You control one persistent character. NPCs remain autonomous people with their own knowledge, relationships and priorities. Your contacts, facilities and specialist support can grow without turning those people into additional player characters.

Can I choose my own approach?

Yes. The 100-mission campaign across 10 arcs gives direction, while freeform play lets you find your own solutions. Travel, engineering, trade, investigation and outside specialists can all become part of your chosen route.

What happens when I fail?

Failure remains recorded. Objectives, rewards, time, resources or standing can be lost. Legitimate recovery routes allow the campaign to continue with those consequences rather than pretending you succeeded.

How long is CYBERTECH designed to last?

CYBERTECH is designed for roughly two years of sustained play and progression. Time spent sourcing resources, developing your Carrier, configuring technology and dealing with consequences extends beyond the major campaign missions.

Does changing narration change the rules?

No. Narration style, detail, dialogue and combat presentation alter how the experience is described. The underlying rules, committed outcomes and persistent world state remain authoritative.
